hanging in there

It's 3:42 and Julie's Labor and Delivery nurse, Theresa (whom we adore by the way), just checked Julie again. She is still 5cm, but is fully effaced adn baby girls head is in a good position. Theresa also had to put in internal monitors to monitor the heart rate and Julies contractions. Little girl, like her big sister, is having a little bit of trouble with a high heart rate. So please pray that baby girl calms down a bit and maintains a lower heart rate so that Julie can go ahead with a natural delivery as opposed to a c-section. Dr. Wynne is on her way over to check in and assess the situation...so until next time!
Auntie Kim!!
no pics this time...sorry, contractions are stronger so mommy is a little less tolerant of guest bloggers big camera in her face!!!!

She's on her way!!

for real this time!!!!
Hi, this is Aunt Kim, guest blogger for the day! We are at the hospital....finally!! Baby girl has definitely proven herself stubborn in the past few weeks, but it seems as if she's decided it's time to make her debut! Julie had an appointment this morning, an appointment where she was supposed to be having her pre-op preparations done for tomorrows scheduled c-section, instead her water began to leak and Dr. Wynne discovered she was 5 centimeters dilated and 90% effaced. So, she sent Julie over to the hospital to have a baby!! As Julie was called in from the waiting room at the hospital, she stood up and her water completely broke!!! SO, she's on her way!! I'll be keeping you guys updated on our process!! So sit back and enjoy your day of guest blogging a - la - Aunt Kim!

The Zoo with Nana

We decided to go to the zoo yesterday with Nana since she is in town for Spring Break. We had a fun day and finished it off with riding the train from the new train station. Jacob was very excited about the train. The kids were tired after a long morning at the zoo. Thanks Nana for going with us! Oh and Happy Birthday to Aunt Kim today! We love you. Also Happy Birthday to Karen! Yeah for birthdays.

Update and Rodeo Day for Jacob and Hannah

Well, my in-laws were kind enough to take Jacob and Hannah to the Livestock show and Carnival while Matt and my mom went with me to my doctor's appointment this morning. After having contractions for the last week we thought there may have been some progress, but NO! I am the same as last week. I am over it now, but was not happy this morning. I am grateful that I am healthy and baby girl is healthy. She just isn't quite ready to come yet. Enjoy the pictures of the kids with OD and DD.

Snow in March?

No, not snow, but a 5 minute hail storm did this to our back patio today and Jacob and Hannah kept saying "SNOW!" They wanted to go play in the snow so bad. They were quickly dissappointed when it melted rather quickly.

Daddy bringing a cup of Hail in to show the kids.

Looks like snow to two small children!

Happy Birthday to our Princess!

Well, our sweet Hannah Grace turned 2 on March 9th. We had her party on the 8th and despite the fact that she didn't have a nap before hand, she had a great time. She and Jacob both were out for the night before 7:00pm. We have been so blessed with Hannah these last two years. She and Jacob get along so well and we are now anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little sister! I am 3 cm dialated and now the waiting game begins of when Miss Priss will come!
