What the Cole's have been doing

Matt and I went to a wedding last weekend and enjoyed a night out without the kids. Thanks OD and DD!

Me and My sweet hubby!

We have had a good time just taking it easy in between swim lessons, the gym, mommy's work. Hannah LOVES LOVES LOVES sliding these days. She is constantly asking to go "Outsy" or outside! The extremely hot weather does not seem to phase her a bit. Hannah also loves reading. I read her the same book 12 times in a row multiple times a day. Jacob loves playing outside if it is not too hot or if water is involved. He loves playing in his "cave" that daddy made him in his room. This occupies him for a good while, even longer if mommy or daddy are in the cave with him.

Ready, Set....

GO!

Books, books, books!

Last week we went out to eat at Roadster's because it is a nice place to have dinner as a couple while the kids played in the sandbox! It was an enjoyable evening and they were tired when we got home. After a much needed bath...they went straight to bed.

Updates Needed...I know!

Well, again....if anyone still checks my blog...here goes the updates from the last month. After the Lake, the kids and I went with my sister and Brady up to see Grandanny and Nana while the daddy's worked. If you checked my sister's blog, you already know that EVERYONE got a stomach flu! Uncle Jeff, Brady, Kim, Jacob, Nana, Grandanny, Hannah (in her carseat on the way home) YUCK! I got it 5 days later. NO FUN. Lucky for Matt, he did not get it. We celebrated Grandanny's 60th birthday before we all got sick. After that I took a rode trip back up to Dallas with my good friend Lindsay to see my sweet childhood friend Dip get married and then on to a night with my girlfriends from college for a bachelorette party! Then over the 4th of July weekend, we went to Galveston with my family. We celebrated Nana's birthday while at the beach, but I didn't get a picture of her blowing out her candle. Sorry Nana. I am sharing a lot of pictures to catch up. It starts with the beach and works backwards over the last month. I just loved this video of Hannah running on the beach. Her hair curled up with the ocean air and she looks like me as a little girl!

Lake Vacation

Matt had a week off this week, so we took advantage of it and headed to Horseshoe Bay on Lake LBJ in Marble Falls, Tx. Matt's family has a lake house that we get to use periodically. We joined OD and DD at the Lake for a few days of splashing in the pool, playing in the lake, and some really fun boat rides! It was so nice to get away and get to focus 100% on playing with the kids without housework or work to think about. It was a much needed vacation for the Cole family. Thanks to OD and DD for letting us stay. Here are a few pictures of our trip! Stay tuned for pictures of our week at Nana and Grandanny's house this week. My sister, Brady, Jacob, Hannah, and I are heading up to Rockwall on Tuesday for a few days. Please pray for Kim and I....One car, three carseats, three kids! This might call for some serious ADVIL and a Route 44 Diet Coke from Sonic!

Our Visitors!

We had a busy week and some very helpful visitors! Nana and Granny were in town to help with our garage sale last weekend. Then they spent a couple days with cousin Brady and came back to our house to play with the kids and help out with a few projects with my garage sale money! We finally finished decorating Jacob's big boy room! Yes....I know.....he has been in this room for 17 months now and it has been a work in progress. When you have two children that are 18 months apart, a job, and housework to complete, house projects get pushed aside. We got a lot accomplished and I will post the pictures of Jacob's room later. We also finished decorating my small bathroom in our bedroom. It is now cozy and not quite as bad as I thought! Granny and Nana emptied my very very full ironing basket! They played with the kids while I went to my office on Thursday. Thanks so much to Granny and Nana for a fun and productive week. Here are a few pictures from the week.
